Goats in Virbotnes know their worth - they are both maintainers and restorers of the pastures, as well as milk providers! The goat cheese is crafted according to carefully selected recipes - they come from both the ancient Latvian heritage and the refined European cuisines.

It's a true pleasure to see how carefully and lovingly Modra tends to the goats, milks them, and then processes the milk into the most delicious products. From goat's milk, the hostess prepares soft cheese - classic and with garlic and parsley, feta cheese, butter, clarified butter, sour cream, and even ice cream. We highly recommend trying each product, especially the ice cream! Feta cheese makes delicious Greek salads, while fresh cheese baked and served with honey and walnuts tastes excellent!
