Inese Dimanta offers the beehive for rent, in her farm “Graudiņi” in the territory of the Grini Reserve.  

 Anyone interested can rent a beehive and experience the full cycle of bee care, producing their own honey. It is also an opportunity to gain practical knowledge about honey production and learn about the role of pollinators in the ecosystem.  An unforgettable experience that will bring tastes and memories for the whole family!

Offer includes:

• Hire of Latvian beehive - a traditional beehive where bees are kept using organic methods.inventory - everything you need to experience beekeeping.
• professional beekeeper - regular advice and help from a beekeeper who will keep you informed about your hive and what's going on.
• full beekeeping cycle - take part from the beginning to the harvesting of the honey yourself or with your family, do all the beekeeping activities yourself or, if you don't have time, have them done by a beekeeper. 

The bee apiary for rent was created with the support of the small grant funding provided by the Latvian Fund for Nature’s  project “LatViaNature” .

 Here, in the natural meadows of the Grini Reserve, there is a great place for bees - there are no rape fields in the area and the forest meadows delight with a great variety of flower species. The bee farm also offers educational excursions, workshops and beekeeping experience sessions.

Inese has no shortage of entrepreneurial spirit and energy. She is also a guide at the Grini Reserve, and has discovered many interesting things about the origins and importance of this place, which she is happy to tell and show to nature tourists. Here you can see night violets, the common marsh myrtle, also known as the balsamwort, one of the ingredients of Riga's black balsam.
