Biologically certified farm in Tārgale parish, Ventspils district, managed by Andris and Jana Berki. The family once left city life in Ventspils and moved to the countryside, where they live and manage in harmony with nature. Andris and Jana are pleased that their children have the opportunity to grow up in the countryside with a different attitude towards work and animals. Family is engaged in sheep farming for more than 10 years, breeding Romanov breed sheep for both breeding and meat production. Romanov sheep are bred in accordance with the state-approved Romanov sheep breeding program, adhering to veterinary and zootechnical control. Continuous efforts are made to improve the quality indicators of the herd.
Jana has established her own processing workshop where sublimated sheep meat products are produced - excellent snacks!
The sheep, as well as hens and ducks, are looked after by smart and beautiful Australian sheepdogs, which are also beloved pets at home.
