SIA Pavasari RT

The owners of "Pavasari RT", Aneta and Ainārs, started beef cattle farming relatively recently, about five years ago, when they decided to build their life on the beautiful rural property "Pavasaros", located in the Remte parish of Saldus municipality. Realising the value of the biodiversity of the property, it was decided to farm in a way that would preserve and enrich it. After assessing the conditions and the possibilities, the owners decided in favour of an extensive farming model, where Hereford cattle are a great help in tending the natural grassland.

Starting with no experience in beef cattle farming and natural grassland management, but with a lot of enthusiasm and dedication, they have now built up quite a solid knowledge base and a beautiful herd of purebred Hereford cattle. Aneta and Ainārs also involve their children in the farm from an early age to teach them the virtues of work and a love of nature and the land.

"Pavasari RT" is a member of cooperative society "Latvijas liellops". Aneta and Ainārs are actively involved in the cooperative's activities, with the aim of educating buyers about quality beef as a Latvian value and the proper preparation of such meat. Their aim is to farm sustainably and in an environmentally friendly way. "Pavasari RT" is an organic certified farm, participates in the Nature Conservation Agency's "Ziedu pļava" programme to restore the biological value of degraded grasslands and increase the area of good quality natural grassland under the guidance of grassland experts.
