The co-founders of the company, brothers Gunārs and Artūrs Vīgants, are proponents of a healthy lifestyle, and both enjoy tasty yet healthy eating. Since the brothers also share a "green" mindset, they were equally convinced that their diet should consist of organically grown and obtained food. At that time, organic beef products were not readily available in the market, which they both enjoyed so much, so they decided to start raising organic beef cattle themselves. Their farm is located in Ērgļi municipality, where the brothers breed Charolais cattle; they graze freely in the picturesque meadows of the Ogre Nature Park "Ogre Valley," which is part of the Natura 2000 network - the European network of protected areas of importance.
