Taste Natural meadow products at the Riga Food 2025 food exhibition

From September 4 to 6, the Latvian Nature Fund, with its brand "Natural Meadow Products," participated in the international food exhibition "Riga Food 2025" together with the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Center (LLKC) project "Novada Garša" (Taste of the Region).

On September 4, visitors had the opportunity to taste snacks made from natural meadow products prepared by chef Rūdolfs Šteinbergs. Rūdolfs is truly passionate about meadow products! He tries them in various dishes, discovers new and surprising flavors, and is happy to share his impressions.

On September 5 and 6, the Meadow Cheese Tasting Room offered sheep's milk cheeses from "Piena aitas bio" (Iluta Straģe) and goat's milk cheeses from "Dāru kazu siers" (Dainis Erbss). Both producers' products are labeled "Natural Meadow Product," which means that their sheep and goats graze on natural meadows, helping to maintain and restore them.

Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about natural meadows and their products and services, as well as experience the meadows virtually.
