Jānis Vingris manages the natural meadows in Vingri, Rožkalnu parish, on the banks of the River Dubna, nestled amongst the woods. You can come here and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Step into the meadow, pick some flowers and weave the energy of nature into a wreath. Relaxing in these natural meadows is healing – all around you is silence, fresh air and a natural environment.

Jānis has extensive knowledge of natural meadows and their inhabitants – plants, insects and birds. The host offers visitors the chance to pick their own meadow tea, make sauna whisks and go for walks in the meadows to learn about the plants found there. At the height of summer, the Vingru meadows are absolutely stunning!

After a walk, visitors can relax in the traditional sauna. Overnight accommodation is available in tents or in a small guest cottage provided by ZS “Vingri”.

You can swim and go fishing in the Dubna River; there’s also a boat hire service and a picnic area here.
