ZS “Ramuļēni” – stories of the meadows on the shores of Lake Pulgošņa

“Ramuļēni” is situated within the Vestiena Protected Landscape Area – a Natura 2000 site – in a picturesque location between Lake Pulgošņa and extensive natural meadows. The farm’s main activity is organic cattle and vegetable farming, but in recent years the business has expanded to also offer tourism services – a peaceful break by the lake, surrounded by nature and meadows.

The farm’s activities reflect the belief that a meadow is not merely a landscape, but a living organism capable of providing inspiration, peace and practical benefits to people. At “Ramuļēni”, meadow plants become art, therapy and everyday beauty.

The biodiversity of the natural meadows at Ramuļēni, owned by Inese Brūvere has become a source of inspiration to create new products. Inese With a creative approach and respect for nature, they transform the bounty of the meadows into beautiful and useful products. The plants gathered from the meadows are used to make herbal tapestries, sauna mats and herbal tea brushes. Each product is unique – with its own blend of plants and character. The “Purifying Tapestry” features ferns and bee balm, whilst the “Sleep Tapestry” features valerian and valerian flowers, creating a special harmony of sensations and aromas.

“Meadow produce from ”Ramuļēni” intended for harmony, well-being and relaxation in the home – they help to bring a sense of space into the room the soothing tranquillity of the meadows, whether it be a sauna, a moment of relaxation or meditation.

Each piece is small nature’s message, which is reminiscent of the balance between people and meadows. It’s all here in one place – the scents of nature, a variety of textures and the energy of nature!
