SIA Rukši, a certified organic farm, specialises in the rearing of beef cattle and the production and sale of beef. The farm is situated in Kazdanga Parish, South Kurzeme Municipality, and also manages land in neighbouring parishes and even within the Lake Liepāja Nature Reserve. Priorities: sustainable organic farming, nature and environmental conservation, and high standards of cattle welfare. The farm manager, Per Winge-Petersen (Per Winge–Petersen), a farm manager and experienced Danish farmer, came to Latvia in 2000 with the aim of sharing his experience and working in Latvian agriculture. Per now speaks Latvian fluently and has adopted the warm Kurzemian accent. That’s the way to do it!

SIA Rukši provides full-cycle production: – from calf rearing to serving the meat at the table, creating value-added products marketed under the “Kazdangas Miesnieks” brand.
