The co-founders of NEGANTIgardi, brothers Gunārs Vīgants (SIA Tauri) and Artūrs Vīgants (SIA 3Dpro), are advocates of a healthy lifestyle and both enjoy eating food that is tasty, yet healthy food. As the brothers also share a “green” mindset, they were both equally convinced that their diet should consist of organically grown and produced food. At that time, organically produced beef – which both brothers enjoyed so much – was not readily available on the market, so they decided to start rearing organic beef cattle themselves. Their farms are located in Ērgļi Municipality, where the brothers rear Charolais cattle; which graze freely in the picturesque meadows of the “Ogres ieleja” section of Ogre Nature Park, which forms part of the Natura 2000 network – a network of protected natural areas of European significance. The organic beef offered by the farm is produced as part of a full-cycle family business; the entire process is fully controlled, which guarantees high quality.
