Tea. Tea mandala masterclasses.

At the „Ozoliņi” farm in Amata Municipality, true botanical magic is being created!  This is a place where herbal teas are produced using organic farming methods, and everyone is invited to reconnect with the source of strength – nature. The Lūkinu family have been running the farm here for several generations, having once moved from Riga in search of rural tranquillity.

Today, Evita and Mārtiņš Lūkini run the farm, developing the site not only as an organic tea production facility, but also by organising events and providing opportunities for people to learn more about plants and environmentally friendly farming practices. Various types of tea are harvested and produced on the certified organic farm. The owners acknowledge that tea production is labour-intensive work – harvesting, withering, shredding the leaves and fermentation. All of this requires great patience and care, but when, after a certain time, you lift the lid of the jar and the whole room is filled with the heady aroma of flowers and fruit – you are completely enchanted by this scent and your tiredness vanishes as if by magic!

Evita, the hostess, also runs tea mandala workshops, which invite participants to connect with nature and their own senses.  During these workshops, everyone can discover their own special plant and clear their mind by creating a plant mandala. Evita is convinced that everyone must feel, get to know and understand their own plant through its scent and the sight of it. Come and stroll through the meadows, find peace of mind and the joy of nature. Experience the special charm of this place – the plants, the bog lake and the truly warm-hearted hosts.
